For the past six years, students from around the country have gathered to share information and best practices, tell their stories, collectively strategize, and learn from each other and from REC about the challenges and opportunities facing our movement. This year, join students organizers past and present, friends of REC, allies, and industry professionals for 1.5 days of everything you need to know about responsible investment and how to harness your university's money for social good. Housing Details

The registration fee includes two nights' stay (Friday and Saturday) at Hosteling International - New York. The hostel is located in the safe and beautiful Upper West Side at:

891 Amsterdam Ave. (at West 104th St.)
New York, NY 10025
Here's a map of the address.

The hostel is about a 15 minute walk from the conference venue (click here for walking directions) and will be the by far the most convenient housing option for most people not from the city.

Our registration fee is a flat rate whether or not you choose to stay at the hostel with the group. Please be advised that it can easily take an hour on the weekends to get to Columbia University from many parts of the city, including Brooklyn, Queens, and lower Manhattan. Since we'll be starting at 9am each morning, we recommend staying with the group at the hostel primarily for this reason.

Amenities include:

  • Airport shuttle to and from all three major New York airports: La Guardia (LGA), JFK Airport, or Newark Airport (EWR). Check out their website and click "airport shuttle" in the lower left corner for details and to reserve a shuttle, or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
